Safety Interlock Clamps EN14420 Aluminium

Designed to be used in conjunction with DIN2817 smooth tail fittings. Split clamps are designed to fit snugly on the hose cover.

Best practice is to use a longer 'slave' bolt initially to pull down the clamp, then use the socket bolts supplied to tighten the clamp so that there is a uniform small gap visible between the top and bottom clamp.

Do not have uneven clamping force. If the two parts of the clamp touch, it is probably too large for the hose O.D. and needs changing for a smaller version.

The design ensures a mechanical lock between the clamp and the specially designed safety retaining collar on the DIN 2817 coupling. The internal ribs of the clamp are designed to 'bite' into the hose cover when tightened without damaging it, but offer a very secure and proven safe method of attachment.
