Tankwagon Couplings

DIN 28450 Tankwagon hose fittings are a coupling that has been standardised across the road tanker industry. 

Introduced over 50 years ago, they are now found across Europe and manufactured to DIN 28450 standards. They are connected by pushing the male and female parts together until they are interlocked, then closing the handle securing the lugs together and creating a secure joint. 

Brass possess natural germicidal, bactericidal and antimicrobial properties that prevent bio fouling. For this reason, they are popular in marine environments and the transfer of water, salt water and other fluids that are not for human consumption.
