Glidetech 10 Bar Extra Flexible BUTYL Suction & Delivery Hose

Glidetech Butyl is a  new generation extra flexible 10bar suction and delivery hose which is more flexible than the standard Tufood hoses. It features a PU blend cover which is easy to wipe down and keep clean, improves flexibility, improves abrasion resistance and give the hose a lower co-efficient of friction, meaning it is easier to pull along the floor – as the name suggest, it glides! 

It features a Butyl rubber liner which is generally considered the best possible rubber compound with low permeation and excellent chemical resistance. This results in a hose that can withstand the rigours of regular CIP cleaning and will last longer in service than other rubber compounds. Butyl is perfect for non-odour, non toxic, non-taint requirements.

Approved in accordance with FDA 21 CFR 177.260 -rubber products intended for repeated use in manufacturing, packing, processing, preparing, packaging, transporting or holding food.

Glidetech Butyl is suitable for suction and delivery of most 
food & drink products.

Glidetech Butyl also complies with the following tests

• BFR XXI – Cat 2 – German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment – Commodities based on natural & synthetic rubber
• DM 21/03/1973 – Italy – Health Ministry Decree – hygienic rules for products to come into contact with foodstuffs.
• Regulation 1935/2004/ CE – EU Food materials and articles which are intended to come into contact with food
• Notice No 370,1959 – Japan – Specifications and standards for products for use with Food
• 3-A RPSCQC for (62-02) Hose Assemblies – Standard for parts used to convey liquid used in dairy and food production
• Arrêté du 5 août 2020 – France – Rubber materials intended to come into contact with foodstuffs.
• Suitable for temperatures -25°C to +100°C
• Glidetech Butyl is Phthalates Free
• Glidetech Butyl meets the requirements of 1907/2006/CE (REACH – 
  Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals).
• Can be cleaned and sterilized using a number of different processes including CIP – see guidance notes.
