Last month, Integraflex Ltd exhibited at CHEMUK, the chemicals and process engineering expo. As a team, we invested a lot of time, energy—and walked many miles during setup—to create the perfect entrance to our very first CHEMUK exhibition.
Our primary goal? Connect. And connect we did.
We had some fantastic conversations and even welcomed contacts who travelled from Italy specifically to visit us. We were networking, promoting our brand, and—of course—collecting the usual bits of merchandise for the kids back home (you know the ones: torch, sweets, and a rubber duck).
Not everyone played fair in the competitions though—it turns out some visitors were using AI to boost their chances of winning the LEGO prize. Crafty! We’ll have to add a “no AI” disclaimer next time.
We really noticed the quality of footfall at this year’s event. With combined attendance topping 7,500 over the two days, it was a fantastic show to be part of. From detailed technical discussions at our stand to the slightly more random chats that tend to spring up after 4pm (you know the ones!), it was all part of the experience.
On Wednesday lunchtime, we enjoyed hearing about the LMP3 Project ‘In Focus’, hosted by WMG at the University of Warwick. The session featured a hydrogen-powered race car fuelled by sewage, aiming to break a land speed record—an inspiring example of sustainability in motorsport. It was great to see the car up close, though we’re not sure we’d trust a load of sewage to power us back down the M1!
Our stand was showcased as our parent group R&G Fluid Power, representing both Integraflex, offering bespoke hose and flow control solutions, and Valves Online, who provide a full range of valves through their ecommerce platform.
For future events, we’re considering a small tweak to the map and brochure layout to highlight the individual companies in attendance—not just the group name—to improve visibility.

We’ll see you again next year on the 20th and 21st of May!
